Off the coast of Nayarit, Mexico, small fishing villages unite to protect the Wixarika (sea turtle in the Huichol language), a symbol of strength, wisdom, and longevity. Guided by moonlight, community volunteers gather to assist the hatchlings in navigating the treacherous journey from nest to shore break all while confronting the uncertain future of the ocean they depend on for their livelihoods.
